Our History: Bailes Glass
Bailes Granite & Marble is a family-owned custom countertop business that has been serving Charleston, WV and the surrounding areas, since 1955. Bailes was originally founded by John and Virginia Bailes as a full-service glass shop. In the early 2000's equipment was purchased to transform Bailes into a full-service countertop fabrication shop.
Today, four generations later, the company has grown into the high-quality natural stone fabrication shop where customers can browse and select from stone that was imported from all over the world. We now fabricate countertops, vanities, tabletops, outdoor bars, shower walls, fireplace surrounds and anything you can dream of putting stone on.
